Position Summary:


Navisun is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the preparation of monthly management reporting, provide financial modeling and analytical support for short and long-range business plans, business development project related analysis, pricing and market research and execution support for a wide range of financing transactions. This position involves working in complex financial models and working with the FP&A and Project Finance teams to underwrite new project opportunities, structure and close capital markets transactions, and fund projects across the capital stack including tax equity, construction debt and back-leverage.

Qualifications:
  • A Detail oriented self-starter with a “roll up your sleeves,” entrepreneurial, collaborative, and problem-solving attitude
  • 1-2 years of experience with corporate FP&A or financial modeling experience; renewable energy experience a plus
  • Robust understanding and ability to work with complex financial models and perform sensitivity analyses
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills to a variety of external partners and internal parties (team, senior management, Board)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong proficiency with other Microsoft Office suite software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and generation of end-to-end financial and operational models, for the entire life cycle of a renewable energy project and calculate project and company level returns to support business development origination efforts and corporate decisions;
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual presentations, reporting and Board materials, including coordination with Senior Leadership, Construction Operations, Asset Management and Business Development for data inputs and commentary;
  • Maintain an active understanding of current trends in the renewable energy markets encompassing debt and equity markets along with state & federal incentive programs and assist in the analysis of changes on existing Operating Portfolio;
  • Support the management of data rooms, diligence trackers, external experts, lawyers, and other third-party consultants contributing to project diligence as part of a debt and/or tax equity financing; and
  • Run ad hoc analysis and drive special projects
